- What’s OPS?
OPS – your Opinion, beyond Prejudice, against Stereotypes is a UNICEF contest promoted by the U-Report on the Move platform to fight against prejudice, stereotypes and racism.
Tell us your story and give us your opinion. Answer either one of the following questions:
1) Have you ever thought or felt that someone had racial prejudice against you? Tell us what happened, how you reacted or how you wish you had reacted!
2)Have you ever thought “OPS! This thing I was told (or others were told) is based on racial prejudice, but no one noticed”?
Tell us what happened and how you reacted or how you wish you had reacted!
- What’s the prize?
The winners of the contest will get coupons worth up to 200 euros they can spend on music, tech items and much more!
Plus, winners will get the chance to start a vocational course, starting from September 2021, which will lead to creating an anti-racism campaing to be launched in March 2022!

Registering for the OPS! contest is easy!

There are lots of ways you can enter the contest: find them out and choose the one for you!
- Best Pic:
Post a picture on Instagram and write a caption that answers either one of the questions above with the hashtags #OPScontest #changethenarrative #words4equality and tag the U-Report On The Move Instagram page!
- Best Reel:
Post a reel on Instagram which anwers either one of the questions above with the hashtags #OPScontest #changethenarrative #words4equality and tag the U-Report On The Move Instagram page!
- Best video
Shoot a short video (max. 60 seconds – including any text, songs, visual effects etc.) where you answer either one of the two questions above and send it to email@example.com
- Best paper
Write a fiction, poetry, theatre piece (or any other genre) of no more than 5 pages where you answer either one of the answers above and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org
- Best illustration
Send a drawing, comic strip, poster or visual graphics that answers either one of the questions above to email@example.com
- Best song
Record a short song that answers either one of the questions above and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org
- How will winners be chosen?
- Best Pic:
There will be 2 winners in the “Best Pic” category. One winner will be chosen by our jury, the other one will be chosen by the community, that will vote the most liked pictures on the Instagram stories of the U-Report on the Move page.
- Best Reel:
There will be 2 winners in the “Best Reel” category. The first winner will be chosen by our jury, the second winner will be the one that gets the most likes.
- Best video, best paper, best illustration, best song
For all other categories there will be 2 winners, both of whom will be chosen by our jury.

If we want to fight against prejudice, stereotypes and offensive language, we need to set an example and avoid it ourselves!
That is why any content that includes insults, offense, unfair language or aggressive tones will be immediately excluded from the contest.
